It is always a pleasure to teach Carla Bartlett's music. I especially enjoy teaching the "Piano Postcards" pieces, as my students can relate to the stories with the music, which inspire them to play with better musicality and imagination. During Christmas season, we enjoy playing the pieces in "A Paris Christmas" together, and I play the CD during the holiday parties with my own friends. These are timeless pieces that both students and teachers can enjoy playing, and that teachers can use with their students over and over again.

Over the years, I have used many of Carla Bartlett's lovely pieces in my piano studio. They are well-written, lie well for the hand and, invariably, present musical and pianistic challenges that result in students' musical and artistic growth and progress. Even more importantly, my students -- and their parents -- really enjoy them!
